Envireau Water was thrilled to host its annual Staff and Clients Day in the picturesque Aske Estates last week.
The day was a celebration of Envireau Water’s successes this year and a thank you to the team, clients, suppliers and friends for their support and hard work towards all that we have achieved.
In the morning, our team came head to head for the highly anticipated ‘Envireau’s Got Talent’. Hosted by our very own Dec (James Dodds), we were asked to work in pairs and had the opportunity to showcase how our skills and expertise resulted in successful client projects. With points being rewarded for creativity, it was certainly an entertaining display of talents. The panel of judges, made up of David Walliams (Patrick Dodds), Amanda Holden (Bethan Dodds) and Simon Cowell (Dave Banks), crowned Penny and Joe the worthy winners…although there were whispers of bribery amongst the audience!
Phil Ham, Managing Director: “The session encouraged our team to take time out and reflect on the work that we do. Not only did it give us the opportunity to learn from our own and other’s experience, but also recognise our achievements and collectively celebrate our successes.”
In the afternoon, we were thrilled to be joined by clients, suppliers and friends to share news of the year to date, whilst being spoiled with an assortment of sweet treats. We were fortunate to hear an uplifting presentation from Dave Banks, Director of Holymoor Consultancy and author of the seminal UK borehole design handbook ‘Waterwells & Boreholes’. He delivered a very animated and entertaining presentation, focussing on the theme of ‘work life balance’. Luckily the rain held off long enough for our guests to have a round (or two) of crazy golf, and after a few holes-in-one it became clear that the newest member of our team, Deborah, should be competing in the British Open!
James Dodds, Chairperson of Envireau Water: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the celebrations. Here’s to rest of the 2017 and all the successes that are still to come our way.”
Don’t forget to take a look at the photographs from the day!
