Envireau Water provides expert witness services in all its core areas of expertise. Staff have experience of public enquiry, civil and criminal cases. We have also prepared and submitted Abstraction Licence appeals. The expert witness team is led by James Dodds who has undergone specific expert witness training. Testimonials from both solicitors and barristers can be provided.
Envireau Water has carried out strategic water resource assessments covering the UK; and has undertaken research projects directly for the Environment Agency. We have collaborated with academic institutions to deliver several research projects focusing on water use and management for multinational clients with locations in the UK and overseas.
Envireau Water provide structured, professional short courses on all aspects of water resources management and regulation; data analysis and assessment; borehole design and construction management; test pumping design and data analysis; ground source heating/thermogeology. We also provide training relating to the regulation of private water supplies and private water supplies risk assessment.
Envireau Water believe that presenting continuing professional development (CPD) seminars is an excellent way for us to promote knowledge of the science and technology behind our specialist skills. This knowledge transfer helps our clients and professionals from other disciplines understand the issues surrounding the sectors in which we work. We are always interested to receive requests for us to carry out formal or informal training sessions. Often we provide such sessions free of charge (other than a reasonable lunch!).
