Who We Are
Envireau Water is one of the UK's leading independent consultancies specialising in water management and environmental regulation.
Our experience comes from many years working in a wide range of sectors and industries across the UK and worldwide. We have the expertise and experience of managing and successfully negotiating abstraction licences and environmental permits for some of the UK’s largest companies, SMEs, public sector organisations and private individuals.
We pride ourselves on our technical expertise, our straight forward pragmatic approach and our tenacity with regulators.We design solutions to your problems in the same way.
Our core staff comprises hydrogeologists, hydrologists and environmental scientists with extensive experience of water-related projects in many different geological, ecological and environmental systems, both in the UK and worldwide.
In order to provide as wide a range of technical expertise and experience as possible Envireau Water works closely with external associates and consultants, contractors and organisations such as the British Geological Survey and University Departments.
Our Background
James Dodds founded the forerunner to Envireau Water in 1998 when he established himself as an independent consultant after working for 10 years in water related consulting to the international mining industry. Over the ensuing years the business has grown and developed through merger and restructuring. Envireau Water now has a team of 8 professional geologists, hydrogeologists and environmental scientists, supported by a number of close associates who provide specialist skills. Together we are one of the UK's leading independent consultancies specialising in water management and environmental regulation.
