The Team

James' career as an international consultant spans over 20 years. James is a Chartered Geologist and Hydrogeologist specialising in water resources development regulation and mining / quarrying solutions. James regularly attends and presents key papers at UK and international conferences and is actively involved in the running of professional and special interest organisations such as the Geological Society of London and the UK Irrigation Association. James is heavily involved in high level regulatory liaison and has twice acted as a CAMS stakeholder Group Chairman.

Tamsin is a Chartered Environmentalist and Water Resources Management specialist with a wide experience of abstraction licensing issues, abstraction licence applications, flood risk assessment and the supporting environmental impact assessments. Tamsin has been actively involved in the successful negotiation of difficult licence applications and resolving water-related problems associated with planning applications. Tamsin leads our Welsh office.

Lee is a Chartered Geologist and Hydrogeologist with a diverse background spanning several disciplines over 20 years, including Construction Engineering and Exploration Geophysics. Lee has a key role in flood risk assessment and numerical hydrology, hydrogeology and thermogeology, as well as modelling and numerical analysis.

Phil has over ten years academic and consulting experience in environmental engineering and hydrogeology. Phil runs our North Office and is a senior hydrogeologist, with specialist skills in hydrogeological impact assessment and groundwater fate and transport modelling. Phil’s role within Envireau Water covers all aspects of development, management and regulation of independent water supplies.

Simon is a geochemist with over eleven years experience of consulting covering all aspects of contaminated land investigation and remediation, waste management, environment impact assessment, flood risk assessment as well as implementation of GIS packages.
Simon has a key role in managing land quality assessments and design for ground source heating and cooling projects, as well as water supply boreholes.

Penny is an MSc graduate Hydrogeologist with experience in groundwater resources feasibility studies; production borehole construction and test pumping supervision; data collation; analytical and numerical modelling; thermogeological modelling and GIS operation and management.

Ella is an MSc graduate Hydrogeologist with a background in computer programming and data analysis. Ella is based in our North office and has specialist skills in wetland and groundwater monitoring and analysis; water features surveys, water management plans and hydrogeological risk assessments; test pumping supervision and data analysis.

Alastair is a Geologist with over 5 years consultancy experience and a background in site investigation. Alastair has experience in production borehole construction, test pumping supervision, closed loop borehole design, drilling supervision and borehole remediation.
