James Dodds, Managing Director of Envireau Water, has been appointed to the British Standards Institute Committee CPI/113 to represent the British Soft Drinks Association (BSDA).
The committee scrutinises a range of water related standards. James’ expertise has been brought in with particular reference for input into hydrogeological matters, including borehole and water well design.
This comes from the work that the Borehole Users Conference has done in promoting standards in water well design and the liaison with colleagues in Europe, and AFNOR in particular.
Bob Watson, Chair of the BSDA Bottled Water Group, commented “Excellence in borehole design is essential for our industry and it is essential that other industries do not put aquifers at risk through poor borehole design and construction. We are very pleased that James is willing and able to represent the BSDA on this important topic”.
The 2017 Borehole Users Conference is being held on the 5th October at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough. Find out more here.
