Anna Hetherington, Senior Hydrogeologist, was invited to the Geological Society’s Careers Day in Nottingham, to speak to students about a career in Hydrogeology.

The Geological Society’s Careers Days are the essential meeting place for Geoscience and Earth Science students and industry leaders, institutions and employers.

Anna has over 9 years of experience in hydrogeology and environmental consultancy. Since joining Envireau Water in 2013, Anna has been responsible for managing groundwater resource development projects and abstraction licensing applications for agricultural, manufacturing and bottled drinking water clients. Anna’s expertise includes carrying out water features surveys and hydrogeological impact assessments, designing borehole installations, analysing test pumping and water quality data as well as liaising with clients and stakeholders. With a special interest in bottled drinking water, Anna supports clients with regulatory compliance and natural mineral water status applications.
