Envireau Water is looking to recruit an applied earth scientist with 4+ years’ experience. The role involves supporting the team with both field and office based technical activities.
You may be a civil engineer, geologist, hydrogeologist, hydrologist, or environmental scientist. You will have a good first degree and probably a second degree, and be working towards a relevant Chartership. You will have gained a blend of practical and technical experience within consultancy, or within other industries/situations. Having gained some professional confidence you are now looking for a firm to grow and develop with; where variety of work and opportunities are important; where your contribution makes a real difference to you and those around you; and where you will be supported as you develop your technical and managerial skills.
You will be ambitious and enthusiastic; as well as a team player and a confident communicator. Having a self-starting, flexible and adaptable approach to work, with imaginative and practical problem solving skills – developed within or outside the workplace, you will understand the importance of delivering project tasks on time and budget.
Envireau Water will provide a flexible working environment in which you can continue to develop your career, while learning new technical and business skills; as well as develop opportunities across a wide range of different projects. As you build your experience with us, you will lead your own projects and build your own client portfolio. We provide a competitive salary package including a company profit share scheme; target based individual bonus scheme; contributory private pension; medical insurance and life cover; as well as flexible and family friendly working.
While Envireau Water is an equal opportunities employer, please note that this role will require a level of fitness suitable for fieldwork involving walking over steep and rough terrain. A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement.
In the first instance you should submit, in strictest confidence, a CV and short covering letter explaining what you can offer Envireau Water, as well as details of your current salary package or expectations, to James Dodds, Managing Director at email@example.com.
We encourage you to contact us directly. Whilst agencies may contact us, preference will be given to direct applicants. Agencies should NOT send CV’s unless specifically requested.
