This weekend, our team is striding out from our Welsh office to complete a ’20 miles for 20 years’ hike – 1 mile for every year that Envireau Water has been in business. As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, we are thrilled to be raising money for the Calvert Trust Exmoor – an incredible outdoor activity centre enables people with disabilities of all ages to take part in activities that develop new skills, build self-confidence, increase independence & start new friendships. The wide range of adventurous outdoor activities includes horse riding, climbing, archery, zip wire, bushcraft, kayaking & sailing. Find out more about the Calvert Trust Exmoor here.

Our team received a very motivating email from Michael Ford, a Trustee at the Calvert Trust Exmoor:

“Myself and the other trustees at the Calvert Trust Exmoor are forever grateful for all your efforts and I thought I’d share a guest’s comment about how much it means when people like you raise funds:

Following their stay, wife Seema said: “Amit had the most incredible time – he was able to do activities that he hasn’t been able to even consider doing since he lost his sight five years ago. He was able to physically challenge himself, push himself and get a rush from doing so. Very impressed with how [the centre] balanced the inclusivity of the groups with individuals being able to challenge themselves.”

Best wishes to all the Envireau Water team especially those who remember me helping James when he set off on his 20 year journey – I’m one of the few people who remember him with hair!”

We’re thrilled that we have not only met, but exceeded our fundraising target. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, and if you’ve got some change rattling in your pocket, there is still time to sponsor us here. It doesn’t matter if it’s a little or a lot – it all adds up!

Be sure to check back after the weekend to see photographs from the hike. Hopefully there won’t be too many blisters!
