Envireau Water had the pleasure of attending the 19th Extractive Industry Geology (EIG) Conference in Birmingham on the 6th – 8th September.

The EIG Conferences are renowned as a series of highly successful conferences held every 2 years that provide a unique scientific and technical shop window for the non-petroleum extractive industry.

Our Principal Hydrogeologist, Lee Clarke is the treasurer for the EIG and a member of the organising committee for the conference. He Chaired the highly interesting Hydrology and Hydrogeology session on Wednesday morning.

Envireau Water were exhibiting in the Great Hall and it was great to meet new contacts as well as catching up with well known faces. Many of the delegates were successful in finding Where’s Wally among the dinosaurs and Claire Bark, Senior Geologist from Hanson won the bottle of bubbles after having her name drawn out of the hat for the prize draw.
