James Dodds, Chairperson of Envireau Water will be delivering an Institute of Quarrying (IQ) ‘Lunch and Learn’ webinar on the 25th October, 12:30-13:00, which will review the transitional arrangements and new requirements for abstraction licensing.
These compact 30 minute IQ Academy webinars are designed to fit in with IQ members’ busy working days, allowing them to get updated on relevant and important changes quickly and efficiently.
James has been actively involved in the minerals sector within the UK for 20 years and has been an IQ member since 1994. He has been intimately involved with the development and implementation of the New Authorisations process both directly with the Environment Agency, with the Mineral Products Association and with individual operators. He presented the first IQ Academy lecture on this subject back in January.
The upcoming webinar will review the transitional arrangements and new requirements for abstraction licensing, which came into effect on 1st January 2018, examine what has been learned so far this year, and focus on what you need to do NOW to make sure that you hit deadlines.
If you need support with your quarry dewatering New Authorisations, we suggest that you should contact us for a free, no obligation conversation. It is far more difficult and expensive to sort out licensing problems at the end of the process, than it is if the process is started and presented in the right way at the beginning.
