Principal Hydrologist and Hydrogeologist
I am a Principal Hydrogeologist, with over 15 years of consultancy experience, responsible for the technical input and management of groundwater and surface water projects. I joined Envireau Water in October 2005, and as a Chartered Geologist, I specialise in surface water/groundwater interaction, providing specialist services for private and public sector clients, in particular for those in the quarrying, built environment and agricultural sectors.
My career began in the construction industry in which I gained several years of management experience. I then achieved academic excellence with a particular focus on numerical analysis whilst studying at Aberystwyth, Leeds and Birmingham Universities in Geology, Geophysics and Hydrogeology before moving into consultancy. My previous experience offers a unique mixture of experience and skills.
I am the technical lead for flood risk assessment, drainage assessments, modelling and design. I also support Envireau Water’s expert witness team, having attained the Cardiff University Law School/Bond Solon expert witness certificate.
