Hydrologist

I am based in our Scotland Office, having joined Envireau Water as a Hydrologist in Autumn 2022.

I studied a BSc in Geology at the University of Glasgow and went on to complete an MSc in Sustainable Water Environments. Completing my MSc introduced me to a wide range of new topics and software including, ArcPro, HEC-RAS, Flood Modeller and RStudio. My MSc Independent Project, ‘Performance assessment of HEC-RAS and Flood Modeller for simulating flow events in a braided river system’, allowed me to develop my interest in fluvial modelling further.

In the Spring of 2022, I joined Envireau Water in the North Office on a work experience placement which formed part of my postgraduate studies, before joining the Midlands office in the autumn.

I have been a Hydrologist at Envireau Water for three years, putting the theory I learnt from my master’s into practice, solving real-life problems.
