With over 5 years of consultancy experience, Michael is a Hydrologist responsible for the technical input into surface water projects. Michael joined Envireau Water in January 2014 and as a member of CIWEM, he specialises in surface water hydrology, flood risk management and GIS, providing specialist services for a range of clients, in particular for those in the built environment and agricultural sectors.
His range of experience covers flood risk assessments, surface water drainage assessments and modelling, river management and restoration, including water resource management and environmental monitoring. Furthermore, Michael supports the management of Envireau Water’s environmental monitoring portal which hosts a wealth of clients across the UK. Since 2016, Michael has been completing the MSc River Environments and their Management at the University of Birmingham on a part-time basis, sponsored by Envireau Water.
Michael graduated in 2012 from the University of Hull with a first-class honours degree in Geography, achieving the Wilkinson Dissertation Award. After graduating, he joined a leading environmental consultancy, which provided Michael with strong foundations in flood risk management and modelling and GIS.
