Penny Jenkinson
Principal Hydrogeologist
I am a Principal Hydrogeologist with over 13 years of consultancy experience, based at Envireau Water’s North Office near Richmond, North Yorkshire. Since joining Envireau Water in 2007 I have worked on projects across a wide range of sectors including agriculture, quarrying, industrial, and onshore oil and gas.
I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2007 with a master’s degree in Hydrogeology. Prior to that I studied at the University of Leicester and gained a bachelor’s degree in Applied and Environmental Geology.
My key skills are in water resources hydrogeology, abstraction licensing and environmental permitting. I have an expertise in data analysis and interpretation, and analytical and numerical modelling. I am an active member of the Geological Society and currently working towards chartership.
