You will be part of a diverse technical team, working on projects across an impressive range of sectors. You will be learning to deliver technical and regulatory solutions to sustainably manage natural water systems across the UK.


You will be supporting our Team to deliver technical and regulatory solutions for our diverse client base. Your day-to-day activities will include the analysis and interpretation of hydrometric data from a wide range of sources, production of maps and figures using GIS, and supporting the delivery of application packs, technical notes, and reports for projects related to the regulation and management of surface water and groundwater.

 

What we are looking for


  • An MSc in water and environmental management, hydrology, hydrogeology, or a related subject.
  • You will be either looking for your first role, or for a new challenge in your early career.
  • An understanding of water resources management.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation in the UK.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Demonstrable GIS skills
  • Confidence to work in the field when required.

  • Permanent contract, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

You will ideally be based at our office in North Yorkshire with flexible working. Our other office locations are Melbourne, Derbyshire, Shrewsbury and Stirling.
