Looking for a new career opportunity?
Envireau Water is the UK’s leading independent specialist water consultancy.
Our people are not only a part of it, they are it!

Being part of the Envireau Water team promises development opportunities, challenges, and above all, job satisfaction.

As a growing, dynamic organisation we are looking for people to join our team who, along with academic achievements, relevant experience and the right skill set, will contribute to our positive and professional ethos.

At Envireau Water, you will get the opportunity to make a real impact with your work. We don’t just want people to be in a role but to own it and show us what you can make of it. You will be given the space and responsibility to show what you can do and you will be rewarded for the positive difference that you make for clients and the business. We pride ourselves on offering flexible roles, with our staff experiencing a variety of projects with a wide broad range of clients.

Here at Envireau Water, we encourage our staff to further their careers and advance as individuals with Continual Professional Development activities, as well networking with professionals both locally and nationally. We host quarterly ‘Who’s In My Backyard’ networking sessions in both our Head Office and North Office and over the years have built a community of young professionals who are embracing the opportunity to meet new contacts and develop relationships early in their careers. Envireau Water staff sit on Geological Society regional group and national committees and are involved in a wide range of monthly internal training and knowledge exchange sessions. Our belief is that supporting and motivating our staff as individuals, leads to successful business development.

Team building is important to Envireau Water and our close-knit team regularly arrange social events, volunteer with the local community, and undertake challenges to raise money for charity. We have found that team working encourages our staff to support each other and we are often able to come up with more effective solutions for our clients working as a team, than we would individually.

Life is not all work, and Envireau Water understands the importance of a positive work–life balance. We provide flexibility and practical solutions to help staff achieve the balance that is right for them.

With over 50% of the people involved in the business being women and women represented at every level, we are committed to and deliver on equal opportunities.

Does this sound like something you want to be part of?

There’s a certain kind of person that thrives at Envireau Water. Bring your ideas, have your say and make your mark.

Whilst we don’t currently have any vacancies, we are happy to receive speculative CVs from enthusiastic people who are looking for new challenges and opportunities. If you feel you have the skill set, experience and attitude that we value, please send your CV to phil@envireauwater.co.uk.

I joined Envireau Water in 2003, in fact I was the first full time employee, and have grown with the company. From joining as a graduate, I now have my own portfolio of clients, across a range of sectors, that I am responsible for. Envireau Water has supported and guided me through my career and my career breaks, helping me to achieve my goals and ambitions.
Tamsin Morey
Principal Water Resources Specialist
I joined Envireau Water straight from university, and have learned a great deal in my 3 years with the company. They’ve committed to investing in my development by sponsoring me to undertake a Hydrogeology MSc part-time, a challenge that I’m enjoying getting stuck into.
Joe Shipperbottom
Environmental Scientist
Since starting at Envireau Water, I’ve been able to apply my previous experience and make an impact with new initiatives. I’ve been involved in a wider range of projects, with more responsibility and been able to stretch my technical skills. I’ve also been encouraged to grow my professional network in the geological community through both the Geological Society and Envireau Water’s own networking events.
